Living as a starving FSU college student with limited spending resources has always been a challenge. Here at FsuFun.com we decided to do a little comparison shopping for your benefit to answer some important college meal budget questions.

1. Where can we eat cheapest ?

2. What place offers the highest values for the limited student budget ?

3. Are there any real differences with price and value between the various fast food places ?

We went food bargain hunting and a little comparison shopping turned up these prices.

Note that these prices do not include sales tax and we offered exact prices on some of the lower meal combos. We gave general pricing on some of the higher combos or those with very broad menu selections.

Rallys (Pretty good drive from campus) Rallyburger combo in at $3.29 Their Champ 1/4 pound combo $3.99

Burger King Original Whopper Combo $4.50, Whopper Jr. Combo $3.20 Daily Meal Deals which feature some of their premium sandwiches priced at $3.50 If you like the combo of the day ? This is probably one of the best values around.

Sonic Drive-In 1/4 Burger Meal in at $4.49 with choice of fries or tatter tots.

McDonalds Big Mac Or Quarter Pounder combos in at $4.79. Several Combos In This Price Range.

Popeyes Chicken Sandwich Combo in at $3.99 - 4.99

Taco Bell Combos at $4.69 - $4.89 (Good variety and value priced.)

Pizza Hut Personal 1 Item Pan Pizza in at $3.49 + Drink $1.29= $4.78 (Nice meal that fills while not over doing it.)

Arby's $4.99 Roast Beef Sandwich Combo.

Hip Hop Fish & Chicken. Several Lunch combos in at $5.00, You don't leave hungry here. No skimpy portions. These people feed you. Definitely worth a try. (Great Value Here with Large Portions !)

Zaxby's $ 5.49 Meal Combos include Chicken Finger, Grilled Or Fried Chicken Sandwich Combo Meals. These meals are very filling.

CiCi's Pizza Buffet $5.75 With Drink. All You Can Eat, Of Course.

Stevi B's Pizza Buffet $6.29 With Drink. All You Can Eat, Again Of Course.

Kendalls Kitchen (Breakfast & Lunch) about a $6.00 Lunch with drink, Breakfast is a little less. 6123 Blountstown Hwy. Phone 575-4457 Local Restaurant with nice people. They open around 5:00 am in the morning, (Yawn, I am definitely not up at that hour.)  About a mile west of Capital Circle On Hwy. 20, Lefthand side of road before the raceway station. If you miss Mom's Home Cooking ? This will be a nice pick for a good lunch. (Great Value Here !)
