student Seminoles just like you.Here are the Scores for the 2008 Florida State University Football Season.Florida State Seminoles 42 Wisconsin Badgers 13 Seminoles Take The Game, Badgers Scurry Away! After the rain of the last game. The sun shines on the Florida State Seminoles once again. The Noles easily take the Champs Sports Bowl. This is the way to go out in style for the Season, Oh yeah, Go Noles. This game was well worth the nice trip down to Orlando and it was certainly nice to see the Noles finish out the season in style. The game was a very physical one and it was definitely a return to a more traditional style Nole Ball. A great time was had by all the Seminoles with us who came. Orlando was definitely hopping at the Church Street Station area after the game. This City parties hard! We finally made it back to Tallahassee. This time feeling much better than the last game. Overall, We were most pleased with the outcome and it helps us end the football season on a high note. Good Job Bobby Bowden & The Florida State Seminoles, This is how you are supposed to do it. Florida Gators 45 Florida State Seminoles 15 Rain, Rain & More Rain, Well It didn't help us one bit. This loyal Seminole was just hoping that Florida might get a little over confident & let their guard down. I was also hoping that our team would play just a bit harder and something miraculous other than what all the experts said would happen might possibly be. My next thought is with this rain, There would certainly be an amount of random luck involved in who would actually win. That certainly did not happen in our favor. None of the above happened except for the rain. We braved the wet hoping for this last game here in our home turf for the season might possibly offer a different outcome from our last meeting with the Florida Gators. Once again Tim Tebow delivered for Florida what we should have had. I guess with the weather and the game. No Tennessee strip for us tonight. We all agreed that we just all want to go put on some dry clothes and forget this happened. Ready to get over the holiday weekend and pick my Nole spirit back up again. Florida State Seminoles 37 Maryland 3 Now That's More Like It ! The trip to Maryland was well worth it. It was cold, but the football action was definitely hot! This was a nice recovery from the week at home before. The Terrapins never seemed to get it going and our Noles just kept the ball going strong. This is how I like to see them play. Everyone I talk to seems to think Florida is so strong and we don't have a chance. If we can keep it going like we did this weekend and Florida relaxes their guard a bit which happens when one gets a little too cocky. We might have a pretty good shot at victory against Florida this week here back in Doak Campbell Stadium. Watching this game gave me a pretty good feeling that our team is quite capable. I hope our team is doing it's homework this week and they plan their strategies well. I have my hopes up and I will be there with full Nole spirit. Getting ready for the big game with Florida! Boston College 27 Florida State Seminoles 17 No, No, No, The bad luck from the Georgia Tech Game strikes again. Everything was looking great. The weather was nice once again. The United States Coast Guard had the skies for us with their helicopters overhead. We went in great and then it just started out bad. We could never get ahead. They played some pretty good ball. We have obviously played better. We trailed for the whole game. As I always say when this does happen. Just wake me up when it's over, alright. Well this Nole is off to the strip. Maybe that will go better than the game did. Hopefully we are better prepared when we face Maryland next week on their turf. FSU Seminoles 41 Clemson South Carolina 27 The weather stays great & the great luck returns. Bobby Bowden was celebrating his 79th Birthday and his present on this day for him was the Noles victory over Clemson. The bad luck from last week's game against Ga. Tech has passed. Our team is doing it right again and we had a great time on this game here in Tallahassee. The mood was most festive as everyone here in Tallahassee celebrated Bobby's birthday toward the end of the game. The victory in Clemson was a gift for our coach and a gift to all of the Seminoles who made the trip for this game. The Noles played some awesome ball to bring this one home and a celebration was on after the game. We almost did not make it back to school on Monday because we stayed too long and partied too hard down on the strip. We have to say even the Tigers visitors were partying hard with us after this one on the strip. Meanwhile we are getting ready for Boston College next week here in Tallahassee for another Florida State Victory. See you there, Happy Birthday Bobby Bowden and keep everybody playing ball the right way! Georgia Tech 31 Florida State Seminoles 28 The weather was great and we were having a great time in Georgia. The Noles were doing as they should, It was a close game and then ... what happened? Everything was looking good all the way up to the end for another FSU wonder play for us to pull up from our trailing position, and then in the last seconds a fumble? This does not happen, No we can't let the Yellow Jackets win this. We were looking so good to pull it off and this..... , I was just getting used to an almost perfect season with only one blemish and the this. I don't know. All I know is I am ready to see us beat Clemson this upcoming weekend back home in our stadium. This has to be better. FSU Noles 30 Virginia Tech 20 Blue Skies shine favorably over Doak Campbell Stadium on this game day. We could not ask for more favorable weather and we could not ask for a more favorable game. US Army Helicopters flying overhead before kickoff today set the spirit for a great game and from here there was no stopping us. The stadium was packed and full of energy. The crowd was roaring on our touchdowns and what can I say. Only one blemish on the otherwise perfect record of Bobby Bowden's Seminoles this season. Virginia Tech fans arrived in force with a spirit to conquer but they proved to be no match for the awesome power of the Seminoles this season. A great time was had by all on this game and I believe even the Virginia Hokie fans enjoy our festivities too on the strip after the game. Now we just have to get ready to do it again with Georgia Tech next weekend on their turf. We are ready, Go Noles! Florida State Seminoles 26 NC (North Carolina) State 17 I was really starting to get scared along with everybody else here from FSU or watching the game in Tallahassee. Please tell me I was only dreaming. No we only had one loss, We beat Miami and then ....... Agh....we were behind Tell me I am dreaming, Please say it isn't so. Wait a minute, It's getting interesting now in the forth quarter. Now we are starting to play ball. Adrenaline is pumping, The Fans are going! Oh, my we might actually take this one. YES we did it! Touchdown and we are now winning. Oh yeah it's gonna be a great night after all. The Game Is Over, We won, Where's the party here before the long drive home? Florida State Seminoles 41 Miami Hurricanes 39 Oh Yeah is all we can say. Had a long week in Miami taking in the City and enjoying all the parties we went to. Bobby Bowden with his impressive defense stopped the Hurricanes cold in their own Dolphin Stadium. They were not getting by us. It was a festive & close game for both sides and well worth the trip. The Noles are looking good as a serious team this season and I am sure our bowl prospects will look even better this year. This is probably one of the best real games I have been to in quite awhile. This was real football and a great match in skill levels. Once again Bobby, Mickey & the team proved that our defense would not allow a hurricane through. Miami does it right when it's time to party down there. We almost never wanted to come home. Miami clubs are awesome. Noles keep up the great work and let's do it again with N.C. State. Florida State Seminoles 39 Colorado Buffaloes 21 Hey we know it's happening for the Noles again. Bobby is once again doing it and a great time was had by all at the game regardless if you were for Noles or Buffaloes. The Colorado fans came out in force considering the distance to travel and I even met some great people from Colorado. I personally like to see a game played at either a home or an away venue. I am not too much on the neutral thing. Our strong offensive line did their magic and a great game was cinched by the Seminoles. Jax was a happening party place this weekend and while I enjoyed the town. It just did not compete with the excitement of Tennessee Street after a big win. As long as I live I will never replace the party town atmosphere that one feels on the Tennessee Street Strip after a local home game. Rock on Noles and Bobby keep up the great work. We are always trying to just keep having fun. Wake Forest Demon Deacons 12, Florida State 3 The Fighter Plane overhead before the game did not have enough firepower to give us a victory for this game. The crowd was pumped, We were doing great this season with our undefeated status. The game generated a last minute fury of unexpected fans and visitors into Tallahassee with our winning streak and then.... What happened? We could not keep the ball, Did our memories of Wake Forest last visit to Doak Campbell Stadium haunt us ? What happened? It Happened and so much for our undefeated status. The game kept everyone's nerves up with the low scoring tensions in the air. Ball control will be high on our needs improvement list. Next week we get ready to head to Jacksonville for our clash with Colorado. It has to be better. For now I am off to Tennessee Street to have a few to drown our sorrow of the loss this week against Wake Forest. Go Noles! Florida State Seminoles 46 Chattanooga Tennessee Mocs 7 We knew we were about to see something special as we waited in the heat of the day for the game against the Chattanooga Mocs to begin. The heat was pleasantly interupted by a nice breeze and then spectators in Doak Campbell stadium fell quiet as we all experienced a deep rumbling vibration. As we all looked to see what was happening we were all witnessing something really dark in the sky that almost seemed like something out of the movies. No, It was the B2 Stealth Bomber that seemed to absorb & remove light from the sky with it's dark appearance and grumbling presence flying overhead. After kickoff Florida State seemed to take Chattanooga fairly effortlessly as Nole ball was unveiled for this second time in the 2008 season. Nole Fans were treated to another victory as the UTC Mocs who played with spirit were soundly defeated by Bobby's Noles in this second game. A great time was had by all who attended and the party on the Tennesessee Street Strip was as festive as always. Overall a great time and keep up this Winning Streak FSU as we take yet another victory and get the season off to a great start! Florida State Seminoles 69 Western Carolina 0 Florida State is off to a truly fantastic start this year and a total 69 to 0 shutout score against Western Carolina is the proof. This game started delayed due to lighting and the rain game down in force. Mother nature did not stop the Seminoles this time as it has in past seasons and FSU went on to completely shutout Western Carolina. Here are the Scores for the 2007 Florida State University Football Season.Music City Bowl - New Years Eve Kentucky Wildcats 35 FSU 28 Nashville is famous as for its Music and this was on my mind as I made my new years eve plans as I embarked with my trip to Nashville. Knowing we were missing so much of our great Seminole talent did not offer a good feeling as we knew we were going in with about 2 dozen of our players missing due to the academic misconduct case that really hurt us from the start. Kentucky seemed to have it together. We unfortunately did not. They had their talent ready to play. Much of ours was missing. Nole Fans poured into Nashville Tennessee with plenty of Seminole Spirit hoping for the best but unfortunately expecting the worst. In the first half we were actually playing and had a game all tied up at 14-14. Things went downhill from here. All we can really do is chalk it up to another academic lesson. Fellow Noles, Another Football Season has come and gone. We can only hope for better times in the fall of 2008 when we come back with a new lineup and new talent ready to teach our opponents what it means to really play as Seminoles should. For now I am going to enjoy the hospitality in the Lower Broadway area and take in a great party that the Music City is famous for. Spending too much money as we do on New Years Eve, I wear my Garnet & Gold with pride and I am ready to bring in 2008 and enjoy the trip home tomorrow. Happy New Year FsuFun.com Readers ! Florida Gators 45 Florida State Seminoles 12 We Went To Take The Gators, Got Stuck In The Swamp & What Happened ? We were doing so well in our game last week and getting ready to go in for a nice sweet win against the Florida Gators and look what happened. I had to endure the trip back being ribbed on my cell phone from a Florida College buddy about the Gators winning victory. Bobby, What happened ? It seems Tim Tebow was just unstopable and may be unstopable all the way to a Heisman trophy. In all fairness. The Gators played some decent ball. As much as I love Nole ball. I have to say the Gators played good ball and as for us ? I guess it's back to the practice field. The gators offensive stratagies were really great to watch and our defense. Well it needs some practice. It does not stop my party as a true Seminole though. We had a great time in Gainsville on Saturday night and the drive back was not as bad as on some games I have had to endure. It was Youth Day At Florida State & everything was looking good. Everyone came in ready for a game and a game was in fact delivered in this final home game of the season. There were some obstacles that almost caused problems for the game. Overall it was a great primer for next weeks visit to the Swamp in Gainsville for the big game against Florida. Today we beat Maryland, Next Week we take Florida. This was certainly the buzz in the air at Doak Campbell Stadium here in Tallahassee. Garnet & Gold Seminole spirit was running high and strong this Saturday. It was well publicized that Bobby Bowden was celebrating his 300th Victory and the unsaid assumption or expectation is number 301 which is to be next week. This is at least the feelings of our Mike the Man here at FsuFun.com, Overall a great time was had by all Seminoles who attended. I certainly left feeling good and unless you happened to be from Maryland. I'll bet you were feeling pretty good too. Go Noles ! Virginia Tech 40 FSU Seminoles 21 Nole Football Has Been The Best & Then ........... We had it happening and FSU Football was looking great and we went in ready to win. We were ready to show Virginia how it was supposed to be done and then ........ It turned out they were the ones who were doing the teaching on their home turf in Blacksburg, Virginia. The Virginia Tech Defense was strong. Drew Weatherford was knocked out of the game. We kept losing the ball. We lost our lead in the third quarter. Overall it was not a good experience. Unfortunately Virginia's Coach Frank Beamer had his chance to beam as he finally achieved a victory over us. The trip home was a sad one. The only thing left to do is have confidence that Florida State will be up to the task of beating Maryland hard on November 17th here on Nole Turf. We usually do well against them, Bobby Bowden and The Seminoles will do it once again for us. Until then I guess I will just have to tough it through this loss. Come on Noles let's get it together. I really don't like to lose and I know you don't like to see this happen either. We want to make sure the team has everything they need to take this next game and "The Big Game" Against The Florida Gators. Florida State Seminoles 27 Boston College 17 Seminole Football Means Victory Once Again, It was a long trip but those of us who are the diehard Seminoles belived that the trip was well worth every penny it cost in travel. I went looking for a real football game and find one I did. Drew Weatherford was fantastic to watch in play and the fantastic game saving play by Geno Hayes was a high point enjoyed by all Noles tonight at BC. By the latter part of the game it became clear that Boston College would not pose any real problem to the power of the Seminoles. Congratulations Bobby Bowden and all the FSU Seminoles who made this happen here at Boston College. Our trip to Boston was well worth it and yet another great game was enjoyed by all who made the long trip trip to Massachusetts and now it appears that we are "bowl eligible" thanks to the new winning streak of F.S.U. Florida State Seminoles 25 Duke 6 This Is How We Are Supposed To Do It ! It was looking like a true shut out and then ......... They scored, but not to cause any real threat for our Noles. In this game Noles ruled and Duke learned from the Masters here at Florida State. Garnet & Gold Spirit reigns supreme after two losses this season. We trying not to have another one and almost accomplished a total shut out. They managed to get one by us, Duke would not pose any real problem to the power of the Seminoles. Congratulations Bobby Bowden, Mickey Andrews, Antone Smith and all the FSU Seminoles who made this happen here at Campbell Stadium. Our homecoming was well worth it and at last another great game was enjoyed by all here at the stadium tonight. University Of Miami 37 F.S.U. 29 This was supposed to be our game and all was going just great and then ............ I don't know what happened. We had a really great game going that looked like we had it all wrapped up and then .....? Our Noles were doing great and it looked like we were about to downgrade the Hurricanes to a tropical storm and then..... They seemed to come back to life and really messed us up in the last minute & a half of the game. I was just getting ready to leave and this has to happen. I am speechless. I don't know what to think. Alright I am calling it a night with this one. Wake Forest 21 FSU Noles 24 Well We Were Doing Great. I don't know about Thursday Night Games. This one felt kind of strange going in and now that it's over. I guess my worry was right. Seminoles are supposed to Win, period. We have been on a roll and we lose this one. What happened ? On the drive to Winston Salem everything was looking good and all of the Garnet & Gold Seminole Spirit was going all the All The Way ! Then this happens. What happened to Florida State Seminoles being untouchable. Penalties, Defensive problems. Oh well I know our energies are really focused on the big game upcoming on October 20th, Yes The Miami game right here at home in Doak Campbell Stadium. That's the game I am ready for. Florida State Seminoles 27 N.C. State 10 The Weather was looking most menacing & We have all seen the Seminoles not do so well in the rain. Neither Rain, Thunder or Lightning will stop the Noles in facing N.C. State on this Saturday's game. The Weather may not have been on our side but Nole expertise with Bobby Bowden certainly was.
